Frequently Asked Questions

What is needed to get started ?

Needed would be the specific picture you would like painted, plus any additional
pictures for clarity, eye color, hair color, etc. All pictures will be returned with the
completed portrait.

Can more than one picture be used as a basis to
paint one painting?

That is possible, but it depends entirely upon whether the pictures can be lined up
in such a way that the artist can effectively create a quality portrait. Our Art
Consultants can assist you with this.

How Long will it take?

Expect 8 to 12 weeks for completion of the portrait, which begins once all the
necessary pictures and details are received by our Art Consultants.

How about Framing?

All portraits are professionally framed in an impressive 3"
gold frame with a linen liner. Alternate frames can be used
upon request.

How is the painting shipped?

All paintings are shipped by UPS or Fed X regular ground.

Who is the artist?

We use a number of professional portrait artists who work
exclusively for our company. Each portrait is painted from
start to finish by the artist who signs the work. Keep in mind,
that the portrait is painted from a photograph and not a live
sitting. Therefore, the main objective of the artist is to have
the finished painting look as much like the photograph as
possible. The artists bio is available by request.

What if there is a mistake or misunderstanding
with regards to color, size, etc.?

This rarely occurs, however, Classic Portraits, takes full
responsibility for the quality of the portrait and if necessary,
retouches are possible.

What is the cancellation policy

The Company allows 3 business days from when the order
is placed for the purchaser to cancel.
